The food was excellent. The service was FABULOUS. The sweet tea was just like at home. The food tastes felt like my grandmother's. The restaurant sits on land surrounded by water. it's so beautiful. The wait was long, but it was all worth it. You have to time it just right. I noticed that after 2 p.m., the place was less crowded. Everyone was so nice. I will definitely be back.

The food was delicious. It is the definition of Soul food. Cooked to perfection and packed with flavor. Nice view of the lake as well. Not gonna lie though. The cashier kinda gave me attitude when I asked if mac and cheese was an included side. Idk if that attitude carries to the dining room. Definitely put this on your places to visit in Shreveport!

5 Stars across the board. The atmosphere is so chill. The views are phenomenal. The wait staff were accommodating. One of the Best restaurants I have dined in. Thank you for the amazing experience.

It's right on the water, but we went at nice. I imagine it's a pretty good view. The decor is not much, but let's get real...you should be here for the food. Got the gumbo and stuffed shrimp. Delicious! Lots of good. Even the buttered toast was delicious.

First visitLocated off the road like in a housing addition. Along the water. Nice big windows to view the water.The staff was friendly, welcoming and our waitress offered good suggestions. The portion size was huge!My husband ordered the large gumbo and it was large. I had the stuffed shrimp. Too much breading for me but removing it was easy. The side dish of mashed potatoes and gravy was huge. Very good. The gravy had red and green peppers slices which was new for me and surprisingly good.Would recommend the restaurant and would return if back this way. Nice find!

This was my third time to visit Orlandeaux's Cafe and it's been great everytime. This time I got the shrimp fried rice and an order of the Nacitoches Meat Pies and they were both delicious! I wasn't sure how much food the small shrimp fried rice (9) would be so I ordered the meat pies too (10) and i know 2 people could have eaten the 2 and gotten full. The rice had small shrimp mixed throughout and was topped with a fried egg. I asked for light Seasoning and it was still spicy and flavorful. When I ordered the meat pies I was expecting 3 or 4 small meat pies but got 3 full size meat pies. I always get a swamp water to drink and it is so cool because it has dry ice in it giving it a definite swamp effect and tastes great. My friend order the shrimp and grits (her go to cajun food) and it tasted great, too! The down home sausage really sets this dish off! We will definitely continue eating at Orlandeaux's!

The food is so delicious! I will admit the wait times are extremely long, but they are completely worth the wait! It was my first time visiting Shreveport LA, and I wanted some authentic creole food, and they did not disappoint. We ordered a little bit of everything, and it was all packed with flavor and very fresh. The lake views are also very nice too. Service was really good for being busy. The employees didn't seem stressed, nor were they ever rude. They treated everyone with respect and were super nice. I definitely will come again when in town!

The food was excellent. The service was superb. The portions were gigantic, our overall experience was phenomenal. I highly recommend this place, very upbeat atmosphere as well. It's also a good family place to have dinner with your spouse and your kids.
